Your Life Path Number is figured out by adding up all the digits in your birth date and then breaking it down to just one single digit. For example,
23 - 12 - 1993
The date: 2 + 3 = 5
The month: 1 + 2 = 3
The year: 1 + 9 + 9 + 3 = 22, because it is a double digit, we will reduce it one more time to 2 + 2 = 4

Then add it all together, 5 + 3 + 4 = 12, 1 + 2 = 3
In your case, your Life Path Number ends up being 3.
